This year I was incredibly fortunate to receive a First-Timers Grant to attend Miles of Music, courtesy of venue extraordinaire Club Passim and the Iguana Music Fund. Run by powerhouse musicians Kristin Andreassen and Laura Cortese, this week was stock full of everything a gal might need for a happiness cocktail: no cell phones, seclusion on a beautiful island with 120 other fantastic musicians, dancing until sunrise, songwriting classes, and Turtle Boy.
Life changing is no hyperbole for this week. I’m infinitely grateful to the Miles of Music community and can’t wait until the next spin!
